Valley regulars work a few things out, usually the hard way. Here is the short version.
A hose-down at 100 degrees dries before anyone can dry it, and the minerals left behind will etch. Early morning, or let somebody bring water that is meant for it.
The valley does its real damage between June and September. Sealant or a coating goes on in spring. Anything after that is correction, not prevention.
Half the driveways here pull something out to El Capitan. Booking the trailer rig and the everyday car together is the cheapest way to keep both looking right.
