The Bling Bling includes a Single-Stage Paint Polish that handles most light scratches and swirl marks. For heavier correction, ask about polish and prep options when you request a ceramic coating quote. If a scratch has gone beyond the clear coat, we can connect you with a local paint shop for professional repair. Car detailing does not fix dents, but we can connect you with a mobile solution for dents as well as rim repair.

The ideal cleaning frequency for your car depends entirely on your environment and how often you drive. When cleaning and waxing your car, always keep a high-quality microfiber towel handy. As another rule of thumb, use plenty of water as a lubricant to avoid scratching paint that has thick residue.

Step 1 – Power washing: Start by power washing the exterior to remove hard surface sediments. Ionized water is the best option for this purpose as tap water can leave water spots. This is followed by cleaning with paint-safe suds and soap to start removing gunk from your paint’s surface. 

Step 2 – Clay bar treatment: Once your ride is power washed, it may benefit from a clay bar treatment. This step involves a handheld device that further removes micro-sediments (think tiny rocks) that might be stuck deeper in the paint’s pores. This step matters most if the car has been outside since waxing as there could still be small grains of rocks in the paint that may create micro-scratches if spread all around the car. You don’t want that!

Step 3 – Apply wax: Prep a waxing pad with a high-grade wax, then apply the wax on your car’s surface in gentle circular motions. Try to distribute the wax evenly over the surface. After a few minutes, carefully buff the wax using a microfiber towel to reveal a lustrous finish. Higher skill techniques include using a polishing wheel to apply the wax across the car’s paint. 

We recommend carnauba paste wax for the best results.

While detailing technicians are professionals when it comes to the right detailing products and techniques, they are not experts in all the different child seats. You should take out and put back in the child car seats to avoid potentially compromising the safety of your little ones.

We do not recommend taking your car through a machine wash if you wish to keep your vehicle for a long time or resell it in the future. Sadly, every time you take your car through a machine wash, the fabric that’s spinning on the machine creates hundreds of micro-scratches that add up over time. If you truly love your car and care about the paint lasting a long time, there are better options like professional automobile detailing.
