After the first round of washing and clay bar prep, the team carefully applies wax to the car’s surface. They use a microfiber towel to spread the wax evenly across all the paint. Then, they often use a polisher to help spread it into the paint and give it a shinier result. Finally, they meticulously buff the surface with a clean towel for a more vibrant paint color. Aside from the visual appeal, wax can also offer some temporary protection to the paint from the weather.
