The Pacific Highland Ranch Community Park is set to open in the next few weeks. Located on Village Center Loop Road, the new park is conveniently located between Canyon Crest Academy and Pacific Trails Middle School. Cathedral Catholic High School
The shooting that occurred at Cathedral Catholic High School in California’s Carmel Valley has shifted the school’s location. Originally scheduled for Pacific Highland Ranch Community Park, the game will now be played at Cathedral Catholic High School. Eagle Eye scout Benjamin Lebeaupin will be in attendance. The school renamed itself from University High School in 2005. It is located 0.5 miles from the community park and most schools. It is also 3.5 miles from the Pacific Ocean. There are only one entrance to the community: the Valero Gate, on the west side of Del Mar Heights Road.
This community has an award-winning school district and several schools to choose from. Pacific Highland Ranch is part of the Del Mar Unified School District. The school district also serves Carmel Valley Middle School and the nearby Canyon Crest Academy. The Village features mixed-use living, curated parks, swimming clubs, and public safety facilities. McGonigle Canyon Neighborhood Park
The City of San Diego is seeking public input on design alternatives for a new five-acre neighborhood park in Pacific Highlands Ranch. The park will be located at the intersection of Solterra Vista Parkway and Caminito Mendiola.
